What are you trying to do?

Reply to Lurch's Post: I am trying to program a factory key fob alarm remote. and also find out how change the setiig on the factory car alarm with the key. When I open my car door on my 96 camaro i have about 5 sec before the horn starts honking and have to start the car to make it go off. How do i adjust the time frame. I have a key fob that i have confirmed works with the camaro which is a 4 button remote (lock / Unlock / Trunk / Panic )

To Program Remote:

1) Turn Ignition to Run the Off Position
2) Remove Radio Fuse ( # 17 ) from Fuse Panel behind Drivers Dash.
3) Cycle Ignition Switch from OFF to Run 3 times within 5 Seconds, leaving Ignition Switch ON.
The Door Locks & Hatch Release should Cycle, confirming Transmitter Program.
4) Press both the LOCK & UNLOCK buttons for 16 Seconds.
The Door Locks should Cycle to Confirm Signal.
Wait until Door Locks have Completed the Cycle by Unlocking before proceeding.
5) If a Second Transmitter is desired Repeat Step 3.
6)Turn Ignition Switch Off & Reinstall Radio Fuse to Exit.

There is no adjustment for Entry Delay.
You should be able to DisArm with the Door Key, by turning to Unlock or Inserting Ignition Key & Turning Ignition ON

Reply to Lurch's Post: I tried about ten times It is not working it will not Cycle the locks when i turn the ignition 3 times. when i pull the radion fuse the radion shut off then i turn the ignition 3 times and no conformation of the locks cycling.

The Instructions have to be followed very close to Program:
If it has the Keyless Entry Module & If the Keyless Entry Module is Not Defective.

1) Turn Ignition to Run, then Off Position
2) Remove Radio Fuse ( # 17 ) from Fuse Panel behind Drivers Dash.
3) Cycle Ignition Switch from OFF to Run 3 times within 5 Seconds, leaving Ignition Switch ON.
The Door Locks & Hatch Release should Cycle, confirming Transmitter Program.

If the Locks do Not Cycle, then you will have to have Chevrolet Service Check the Module & Connect Scan Tool
