MY 1995 CHEVY G-30 VAN TENDS TO HAVE A DEAD SPOT OR NO POWER AT ALL IF IT HAS BEEN PARKED IN WET WEATHER. AFTER IT DRIES OUT IF I JUST REDUCE SPEED IT UNTIL IT RUNS FOR A FEW MINUTES I CAN ACCELLERATE AGAIN.

HI

You need to check your dis-cap and rotor and see if its getting wet inside the cap.
Also you should check fuel pressure. pressure should be 15 to 20 psi. anything lower will give you stalling and no power.

I would have it scaned for any stored codes if any and to check what the sensors are doing. With a scan tool you can run tests to check the EGR system.

Also check the timing it should be at 0 BTDC in base timing.
