Hello Lollie,I see you have a question and the previous one was closed. The only rotating part in the back off the engine is the distributer. If the shaft is dry,it can make a sound like the on you describe. It can be able to be listened to with a mechanics stethoscope. Or since it is not a hard job,the distributer can be removed,then if it is the problem,it would be felt and heard when it is rotated by hand.
